Passive fire protection
Passive fire protection is a critical part of Data Centre and industrial delivery. It protects compartment lines, maintains the fire performance of structural and architectural elements, and supports safe operation, compliance and handover. On fast-track projects, passive fire protection also depends on disciplined coordination across CSA and MEP interfaces, because penetrations, structural connections, service routes and late design changes all affect the final fire strategy.
Larget supports passive fire protection through practical delivery planning, interface coordination, material selection and site installation. Our scope can include fire stopping to service penetrations, fire-rated board systems, structural steel protection and related architectural fire protection elements, depending on project requirements. We work to the required drawings, specifications, tested system details and approval routes so that each package is installation-ready and coordinated with the wider construction sequence.
Our approach is focused on buildability, compliance and traceable delivery. We coordinate passive fire protection with surrounding trades, manage installation sequencing, and support QA/QC records needed for inspection and handover. The result is a fire protection package that is correctly integrated into the project, aligned with site standards and ready for review, sign-off and final documentation.
Promat
We deliver passive fire protection solutions using Promat systems where project requirements call for tested, fire-rated board and enclosure assemblies. These systems support compartmentation, structural protection and fire stopping across Data Centre and industrial environments.
Hilti
We use Hilti passive fire protection systems where project scope requires tested sealing solutions for penetrations, joints and service interfaces. This supports compliant installation across cable, pipe and mixed-service openings.
Siniat
We use Siniat fire-rated systems where the project requires drylining and partition solutions with defined fire performance. These systems support safe compartmentation and coordinated architectural delivery.
Fire-resistant sprays for steel structures
We apply fire-resistant spray systems to structural steel where required fire resistance periods must be achieved without compromising buildability or installation sequence. The objective is to maintain structural performance for the required duration under fire conditions.
